Ski area Paganella
Rising in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, a few km north of Trento, the Paganella plateau is a state of the art ski resort and a top destination for downhill skiers. Many are its strong points: a host of sports, leisure and lodging opportunities, swift lift facilities and an efficient snow making system.
The ski resort, included in the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta, features 50 km slopes, 19 lift facilities and a shuttle service connecting the different tourist centers. The recently widened slopes cater to all ability levels. Its position and the constant snowmaking make these slopes perfect for downhill skiing, and that’s why they were chosen by Team America for early-season training. If you are an expert skier, you can enjoy the thrill of skiing on the same slope chosen for their training, the famous black slope Olimpionica 2.
Snowboarders have at their disposal the terrain park Dosso Larici to perform their tricks, and cross-country skiers find here two loop trails: the first around Lake Andalo, 2.5 km long and floodlit until 9 pm; and the second winding through the woods for 5.5 km.
Besides skiing and snowboarding, on the Paganella plateau you find many other ways to enjoy yourself in your leisure time: walks, horseback rides, snowshoeing tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, ice climbing and sledding. Children can have fun on the snow in the Paganella Fun Park or learn how to ski with professional and nice ski instructors.
