Ski area Brocon Pass
The Brocon Pass is located between the valleys of Vanoi and Tesino, in the heart of East Trentino. Strategic area during the two World Wars, the ski resort Brocon Pass – Marande has a strong historic appeal and is perfect for young skiers and families who want to have fun on the snow and at the same time relax. Besides downhill and cross-country skiing, there is a lot of other winter activities you can practice here, surrounded by a breathtaking landscape: winter walks, snowshoeing, ski mountaineering and sledding.
The ski resort Brocon Pass – Marande features 15 km downhill slopes catering to all ability levels, all perfectly groomed and served by a modern snowmaking system. Among the most important slopes figure the Paradiso, Matusa and Laresè, and then there are two red slopes floodlit for night skiing: Piloni and Bosco. From the top of the slopes, some of which start at an altitude of 2000 meters, you can admire some of the most striking mountain views of the Dolomites, with peaks like the Pale di San Martino, Civetta and Lagorai. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts find here the 7 casare, a medium difficulty trail winding in a fairytale scenery. The trail is divided in 3 different routes respectively 3, 5 and 7 km long for both classic and skating style.
The Snowpark Playground Lagorai is the perfect place for children to have fun, with its inflatable toys, a slope for sleds and tubes, and nursery slopes for skiing and snowboarding. There is also a ski school for children and adults offering individual and group lessons.
Besides skiing, here you can have fun practicing sledding, ski mountaineering or snowshoeing, choosing among the many routes of this area.
During Christmas a shuttle service connects the ski resort with the village of Castello Tesino.
