Ski area Val Sarentino
Just outside Bolzano, the ski resort Val Sarentino develops around the village of Reinswald and is included in the ski area Ortler Skiarena. This cozy resort in South Tyrol offers a wonderful snow holiday, to be spent practicing skiing, snowshoeing and going for a horseback ride.
The Val Sarentino ski resort features modern lift facilities taking you in a few minutes at an altitude of 2500 meters and 14 km sunny, wide slopes catering to all ability levels and winding in a breathtaking natural environment.
Sunpark Reinswald is the terrain dedicated to snowboarding and lies near the Plankenhorn slope, whereas the wonderful 24 km cross-country skiing trails are groomed every day and offer an attractive alternative to downhill skiing, winding in charming and silent snow covered landscapes, near picturesque chalets and huts.
Sometimes downhill slopes can get a little too crowded and too noisy. If you are looking for the welcoming silence of a snow covered nature, ski mountaineering and snowshoeing can be the right activities for you! Along the trails and routes you can breathe in the fragrant scent of snow and nature mixed together and enjoy a sense of deep relaxation and wellbeing.
If you are a romantic at heart, you can’t miss a horse-drawn sleigh tour, maybe, why not, under the moonlight, whereas children can have a lot of fun in one of the longest sledding slopes of South Tyrol (4.5 km).
