Ski area Val di Fassa - Carezza Ski
Val di Fassa – Carezza Ski is the largest ski resort between Trentino and South Tyrol, and its slopes cater to all ability levels. The area Skitour Panorama includes, in Pozza di Fassa, the ski center Buffaure with the Ski Stadium Aloch (for training sessions, competitions and night skiing), and the ski center Ciampac in Alba di Canazei. In Italy Canazei is considered the capital of skiing and hosts the oldest ski school of the country. From town you can reach the ski center Belvedere, perfect for skiers of all levels and for snowboarders, who can try their favorite tricks in the Dolomiti Snowpark. The cableway of Campitello di Fassa takes to the ski center Col Rodella, with access to the Sellaronda Ski Tour.
Among the many slopes of the ski resort, the black Ciampac is one of the most important and exciting of the Val di Fassa valley, and cross-country skiers have many trails to choose from, like the floodlit loop trail for nighttime skiing in Pozza di Fassa, the one in the center of Ciampac, and of course the route of the famous Marcialonga, a long distance race.
Ski kindergartens, nursery slopes and winter playgrounds are perfect for children, who can have fun on the slopes and learn how to ski, and the area hosts also two important ski mountaineering competitions: Sellaronda Skimarathon and the Pizolada.
The ski center Carezza Ski is located near Nova Levante, on the South Tyrolean side of the Costalunga Pass, between Val di Fassa and Val d’Ega, along the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano. Featuring some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Dolomites, the resort is surrounded by Latemar and Catinaccio, with the Carezza lake reflecting their imposing images. Among one of the sunniest ski resorts of South Tyrol, it’s perfect for snow holidays spent with the whole family.
Great fun for everyone, both sport enthusiasts and non-skiers with the wide slopes-network, many hiking trails, coasts and the snowparks in Carezza.
