Ski area Stelvio Pass - Trafoi
Stelvio Pass is one of the best summer ski resorts in the Dolomites. Open from May to November, it offers 20 km slopes between the mountain pass and Monte Cristallo.
The downhill ski runs are of easy to medium difficulty levels, and the ski resorts has also 3 cross-country skiing loop trails and a snowboard park.
Non-skiers can go for beautiful winter walks in the nature reserve Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio and, if you are interested in history, you can visit the museum with many finds of the First World War.
Trafoi is a small ski center located at the feet of the Ortles mountain group, at an altitude of 1540 meters, in the heart of the nature reserve Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio. It’s the perfect destination for all those who want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing snow holiday far from the chaos of more famous and overcrowded resorts. The slopes are sunny, well groomed and not overly difficult, with good lift facilities, and the hotels are directly on the slopes.
In the Trafoi ski resort non-skiers find a natural sledding slope and can enjoy romantic snowshoeing walks under the moonlight, or an exciting ski mountaineering tour.
