Laces

Laces stands for warm hospitality, calm and relax. It is situated in the fascinating Vinschgau Valley, the land of apple orchards and holiday paradise, famous for its very mild climate and considered one of the sunniest areas in South Tyrol.

This village borders the Stilfserjoch National Park and is close to Merano, the town of flowers and palms crowned by mountains.
Tucked away in the apple garden of South Tyrol, where the hard work of the farming populace has transformed land into model orchards, this area is also interesting for all art lovers, as it includes the largest number of manor houses and castles in the valley.
Several paths invite the visitors to take beautiful hikes in the alpine landscape, to visit the mountain huts and walk on the "Waalwege", the paths created along the old ditches.
Here you can reach high altitudes without effort, by chair lift or cableway you get to splendid places and leave for new exciting hikes. The new cable railway on the Sonnenberg leads to St. Martin im Kofel, 1740 m. - enjoy the beautiful view over the glacier world of the Ortler Gruppe mountain range! The chair lift on the Nördersberg conveys you to the hiking paradise Tarsch alpine pasture with its meadowes and lakes.
