Naturno gets 315 days of sun a year and less rainfall than anywhere else in the eastern Alps!

This village is situated at the foot of the Tessa Group Natural Park, in a nice position among orchards and vineyards. Here you can join a walk following the well-marked paths, the so-called "Waalwege" – to explore an uncontaminated natural environment, enjoying its calm, sunshine and cool woods. About 50 of these trails were created along the farmers' irrigation channels and still cross the whole Val Venosta. The visitors have the opportunity of finding out a little more about them joining the "Strolls along the Waalwege", one of the several leisure activities organized in Naturno.

The lovers of art can admire many historic-artistic records, such as St.Prokulus, a delightful little church with its fourteenth century Gothic outside frescos depicting the Creation and a wonderful indoor pictorial cycle by two Longobard painters (late 8th century).
Naturno offers a wide range of hiking and sport opportunities: jogging and Nordic Walking along the Sonnenberg Panorama Path or inline skating on romantic trails along the Etsch river.
Furthermore: over 100 km of cycle tracks, Naturns Adventure Pool with its 75 mt. slide, 15 tennis courts, a tennis hall with 4 indoor courts, riding school, canyoning, golf, mini golf, shooting range, bowling alley. And, finally: rafting, paragliding and summer skiing in the neighbouring Schnals Valley! Great fun for everyone!
