Selva Val Gardena/Wolkenstein

A renowned place of winter and summer stay, Selva di Val Gardena is the most famous alpine resort in alto Adige. The inhabited zone extends along 4 Km in the High Val Gardena, between S. Cristina and Plan, in an impressive dolomitic landscape, among the walls of the Puez, the Sella and the Sassolungo.

In summer we suggest the old Way of the Cross, under the vertical walls of the Stenia. You can reach the last houses of Daunëi, at almost 1800 meters, on foot. Through a wonderful panorama surrounded by haylofts, lawns, pasturing cows and rare trees, you will forget to be so near to a tourist station of international fame.

In winter Selva di Val Gardena - Siusi Alp is a well-known skiing locality. In the heart of the Dolomiti Superski, this area is particularly equipped with receptive and sport facilities. You will certainly appreciate the possibility to go back to all hotels with your skis still on!

The locality boasts a great organization at international level and it keeps alive the link with the traditions, such as cultural initiatives and the use of Ladin as spoken language.
