Valdaora/Olang

The municipality of Valdaora is located at the foot of Plan de Corones, at the mouth of Anterselva valley. The area is crowned by the Braies Dolomites and by the ice formations of the Vedrette di Ries.
Valdaora was once a feud ruled by the counts of Tyrol. Today the municipality is made up of four towns (Valdaora di Sopra, Valdaora di Mezzo, Valdaora di Sotto e Sorafurcia), and represents a well-equipped winter sports resort of the skiarea Plan de Corones. In summer, people fond of mountain trekking wil have the chance to choose among the numerous walks with different levels of difficulty, to immerse themselves in nature and admire the wonderful surrounding landscape.
