Besides downhill runs, Trentino Alto Adige offers also a wide range of cross country trails, a sport which continues to attract lots of winter sports fanatics because they can explore the best side of this fascinating winter landscape. Snowy woods and valleys are plunged into the silence and far away from crowded ski runs.
Morevoer, there are heaps of ski mountaineering tracks which let you rediscover the real mountain life, crossing this trails is like going back to the past when people used skis just to move from town to town in this amazing landscape, before lift facilities did even exist.

Skitour dei Forti
125 km slopes of pure fun among the strongholds of the First World War: this is the ski route Skitour dei Forti which, connecting the ski resorts Folgaria/Fiorentini and Lavarone, offers to all sport enthusiasts an unforgettable skiing experience.
The Skitour dei Forti is an important skiing route stretching on the plateaus of Lavarone, Folgaria and Luserna.
Created thanks to the union of the ski resort Folgaria/Fiorentini with the one of Lavarone, the Skitour dei Forti offers a good 125 km of perfectly groomed slopes and leads you to a journey through history, among Austro-Hungarian strongholds of the First World War.
Giro delle Cime
The “Giro delle Cime” ski route in Alta Pusteria runs for 30 km among Monte Elmo, Croda Rossa, the Monte Croce Pass and the ski resort of Val Comelico. Following this long route you can enjoy some of the best ski runs of the area, and a shuttle service takes you from one section to the other.
Skitour Gardena Mondiali 1970
You can take this wonderful ski route on the slopes of the Val Gardena valley from Ortisei, Selva Val Gardena or Santa Cristina. The route includes some of the ski runs of the 1970 Ski World Cup: have some fun and feel like a champion too!
The wonderful ski route Skitour Panorama in the Val di Fassa valley features over 25 km slopes and develops between the lift facilities of Buffaure and Ciampac. The route ends with an exciting black run.
The ski route of Val di Fassa, connecting the ski resorts of Ciampac and Buffaure, goes from Pozza di Fassa to Alba di Canazei, offering over 25 km slopes, a lot of fun and breathtaking views of Catinaccio, Latemar and Sassolungo.

Funny and entertaining ski tour for the whole family on Alpe di Siusi comprising seven stages. Many are the games and attractions inspired by the legends of the strange and naughty witches of the Sciliar.
