Fai della Paganella is a wonderful hamlet on a natural terrace, at 1030 metres, above the Adige Valley, between the Paganella Massif and the Mount Fausior.
The archaeological excavations near the village of Fai, and in particular at Doss Castel, have put to light the finds of a Raetic village, and the first tracks of the settling of men in the area in the Age of Bronze.
Currently the finds are kept at the Laboratory of Archaeological Restoration of the Province of Trento.
In the second post-war period the hamlet turned its economy towards the tourist sector which, nowadays offers always new ideas and proposals to its guests.
In summer in fact, it is possible to make panoramic excursions on the Paganella or on the Brenta Group, among the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, where part of the territory of Fai della Paganella lies, or again among the equipped paths of the Bocchette Route which winds at high altitudes, along the many natural terraces on the Brenta slopes and through the passes (bocchette).
The nature of the territory has favoured the development of equipped facilities where to practise many sports: from tennis to soccer, from basket and volley to swimming, from archery to rock climbing…
In winter, on the contrary, thanks to the close lifts of the Paganella ski area, the village becomes an ideal starting point for excursions and unforgettable days on the skis.
Just a few steps, and you are on holiday!
