Marilleva

At 1400 m, Marilleva is a recent tourism resort, built in 1972. For the winter season Marilleva can put at its guests disposal a skiing area, which consists of 25 lifts, with an average loading capacity of 32800 people per hour, 30 ski tracks, for a total length of 50 km (852.000 square metres), 43 of which (the 87% of the total tracks) served with programmed snow.
The total skiing area is of 970 square metres, and it is constantly kept efficient by the daily work of 12 machines. Thanks to the linking between Folgarida - Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio, with the skis always on your foot, you can cover a wonderful skiing area which consists of 48 lifts and 120 km of track always working.
Made by great hotel and residence complexes, it offers its guests the possibility of a pleasant holiday, both in winter and in summer, thanks to its more than 7000 bed seats. Fast links with other tourism resorts offer the possibility of excursions and walks: to the Stelvio National Park, to Pejo or Rabbi Valleys, or to Madonna di Campiglio. Mezzana and Marilleva Tourist Centres have any comfort: swimming pools, saunas, discos, shopping centres, ski schools and shows.
In summer the wide pinewood that surrounds the hamlet offers to all who desire a relaxing holiday, the possibility of walks and excursions or the possibility of practising other sports with two outdoor tennis courts, three bowls grounds, an ice stadium and many other sport facilities.
