A very frequented center, rich of nice hotels and apartments, shops and locals, and pole of the Trento gastronomy (review "A dinner with King Laurino"). The sad legend of King Laurino narrates that this king lived together with his daughter Ladinia and his dwarf people in a splendid rose garden, in harmony with nature. One day, however, Ladinia fell in love with the knight of Latemar. Confused by love, Ladinia escaped with the knight, throwing Laurino into desperation. While the king was walking in his garden, destroyed from the pain for the passing of the daughter, the wind revealed him the truth. The king's wrath transformed the rose garden in a rocky mountain. The only trace of the ancient splendor is the soft rose colour that still today wraps the Catinaccio at dawn and at sunset.
