Soraga

Soraga lies few kilometres far from Moena, and it has one of the most persuasive reason for having a very relaxing holiday right there in the tranquillity and peace of its surroundings. It is a little village, but equipped with any comfort and it can offer everything to its guests thanks to the many facilities present in the territory.
The lovers of Alpine skiing can get in few minutes to all the close skiing areas, whereas a rink for Cross-country skiing, few steps far from the village, guarantees unforgettable emotions to the lovers of the Nordic technique. In Ladin "sorega", from the Latin "super aqua" (above the water), clearly defines the position of the hamlet compared to the river Avisio. Soraga is considered one of the oldest villages in Fassa Valley, and in the past it signed the boundary between the Principalities of Trent and Bressanone/Brixen. To the latest the whole Fassa Valley belonged, except Moena. With the passing of time, Soraga grew in importance and in the number of offers and facilities it can give to its guests, but at the same time it still keeps its Ladin origins.

The village lies at the foot of the Valaccia and it is towered by the Group of the Catinaccio with the Roda di Vael; the characteristic centre of the Fassa Valley is the ideal destination for all those who wish to relax, and it offers many possibilities of walking plunged into the nature.
Tranquillity, simplicity and an excellent ratio price/quality, makes Soraga one of the most sought after destinations for Italian tourists.
